That one difference decides most jobs. Crusher run carries fines, so it compacts into a base that stays put. No. 57 and No. 89 are washed clean, so water moves straight through them, which is what you want behind a wall or around a pipe and not what you want under a patio. Build a patio base out of a clean single-size stone and it never locks up, so the pavers settle in tracks under the tyres.

Bring the square footage and the depth.
Aggregate is sold by the bulk yard and by the bag, from $60 to $103 across the range, and coverage depends entirely on how deep you are building. Length times width times depth in feet, divided by 27, gives cubic yards. We will check the number with you at the counter before anything moves.
Tonnage this heavy is a truck job.
The tandem dump truck hauls 1 to 18 tons or yards at a time and delivers by distance band: $75 out to 10 miles, $125 to 20, $175 to 30. Under a yard or two, pick up is usually easier than paying for the truck.
