A beautiful paver on an uncompacted base is a failed patio.
Manufactured pavers are dimensionally consistent, which means the finished surface is only ever as good as what sits under it. Compacted aggregate base, screeded bedding, edge restraint, then the paver. Skip the compaction and the money spent on the top layer is wasted.

Order surplus for the cuts.
Units run from $4.00 to $14.00 and are sold by the pallet or the piece. Stocked lines include Discover, Vantage, Antika, Villagio and Stonehurst. A curved or diagonal layout generates waste on every edge, so order over rather than coming back for a second dye lot.
